INTERIOR
Chevy Suburban's interior is cavernous. It's large enough to accommodate up to eight passengers (nine in LS) or best-in-class 137 cu. ft. of cargo(7). But Suburban isn't your average workhorse. A number of surprising features add to the space and comfort, making Suburban one of the best rides on the road.

CAPABILITY
Available seating for up to eight (nine in LS) or 137.4 cu. ft. of maximum cargo space(7) and up to 8,100 lbs. of towing muscle(4) make Chevrolet Suburban the true utility vehicle. With 320 horsepower and 335 lb.-ft. of torque under the hood, the Vortec 5.3L V8 engine has the power to pass and the capability you need to get where you want to go.
Engineers were able to get an efficient air-to-fuel mix by creating a "vortex" in the combustion chamber - achieving impressive horsepower without sacrificing fuel efficiency. With that in mind, it's no surprise Suburban half-ton has better fuel economy than any competitor.(5)
technology delivers power when you need it and conserves it when you don't. When you're driving on level roads, the system automatically deactivates four of the eight cylinders. It then reactivates all cylinders when you accelerate or travel on inclines.
