Why not add a little extra style with one of three wheel choices? Choose from standard 17" aluminum wheels, the available 18" chrome–clad aluminum wheels, or 19" chrome–clad aluminum wheels available on V6 models.

Programmable Power Liftgate

Equinox has an available segment–exclusive programmable power liftgate available in a compact crossover. Besides fully open, it can also be set for a lower opening to avoid contact with a garage ceiling. Or if you've got a long kayak on the roof rack, you can program the liftgate to the height of the roof rack to avoid hitting the kayak.

Multi-Flex® Sliding Rear Seat

Not only does Equinox seat up to five passengers, the innovative Multi–Flex sliding rear seat means Equinox can offer passengers the most rear–seat leg room in its class. It travels nearly eight inches forward and back, providing up to 39.9 inches of leg room for your back–seat passengers. When slid forward, you can also gain valuable space for cargo.

Brings What You Need

Because your lifestyle includes everything from surfing to biking to snowboarding to canoeing, Equinox features an available roof rack. The side rails, standard on LT and LTZ, are factory–installed and the available cross bows are dealer–installed on LT and standard on LTZ. The available Hitch Trailering Package, a dealer–installed accessory, increases towing to 3500 lbs. on models equipped with the available V6 engine†.

 

Trailer Sway Control

What's more, Equinox has Trailer Sway Control (TSC), that's part of the standard StabiliTrak® system. If TSC detects the trailer is swaying, the vehicle's brakes are automatically applied. When TSC is applying the brakes, an indicator light flashes to notify the driver to reduce speed. If the trailer continues to sway, StabiliTrak will reduce engine torque to help slow the vehicle.

Safety

Safety Before, During and After a Collision

There's nothing optional about safety and Chevy Equinox is equipped with features designed to protect you and your loved ones, such as the standard four–wheel antilock brake system with Electronic Brake Force distribution. There's also the available Lane Departure Warning that lets you know when you're wandering from your lane without using your turn signal, and the advanced Forward Collision Alert (requires V6) that alerts you when you're rapidly approaching a vehicle that a collision may become imminent. As you can see, Equinox is designed to protect you from the time you start your engine until the minute you turn it off.

Equinox is outfitted with advanced technologies that help you avoid a collision, including StabiliTrak® Electronic Stability Control System with Traction Control and rollover mitigation. It's designed to improve vehicle stability on most road surfaces, especially during emergency maneuvers and difficult driving conditions. Sensors continually monitor the path being steered by the driver and the direction in which the vehicle is actually turning. Equinox also has four–wheel antilock disc brakes with Electronic Brake Force distribution and available all–wheel drive. The Equinox on–demand all–wheel–drive system automatically delivers power to the wheels with the best traction for optimal grip, even on slippery or unstable road surfaces.

In the event of a collision, you and your passengers have the protection of a steel safety cage, six standard air bags† and the LATCH (Lower Anchors and Top tethers for Children) system — all standard on Chevy Equinox.

After

OnStar Directions & Connections®† Plan is standard for the first six months and includes Automatic Crash Response†, where built–in sensors can automatically alert OnStar® or help in an emergency.
