BIOGRAPHY

Making the transition in 2006 from winged sprint car racing on dirt to a Chevrolet Silverado on pavement in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will be 21 year-old Kraig Kinser. Son of legendary sprint car racer Steve Kinser, Kinser has seven World of Outlaw feature wins to his credit, including the prestigious 2005 Knoxville Nationals.

He made two starts in 2005 for MB2 Motorsports in the ARCA Re/MAX Series. In his ARCA series debut at Michigan International Speedway, the Rookie qualified second and finished an impressive eighth place. In just his second ARCA Re/MAX start at Talladega Superspeedway Kinser won from the pole in the season-ending race.

As teammate to NCTS veteran Dennis Setzer at Morgan-Dollar, Kinser will have the benefit of cutting his learning curve in his Silverado by learning from one of the best in the business as he makes a run for the NCTS Rookie of the Year award. Kinser is a member of the MB2 Motorsports driver development effort.
