BIOGRAPHY
Another contender in the tough 2006 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series rookie class will be Kyle Krisiloff. Krisiloff steps in to the No. 15 Chevrolet Silverado that posted three victories in 2005.
At the young age of three, Kyle Krisiloff competed in his first race on a BMX bicycle but his roots in motorsports run deep. Krisiloff’s great-grandfather purchased the facility that now houses the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway and his family still operates the race track. From BMX bikes, he moved on to quarter midgets where he racked up nine Grand National Championships and over 320 feature wins from 1995 to 1999.
In 2001, Krisiloff tackled the SCCA Formula Ford tour where he won six events and six pole positions in 21 races. Krisiloff made the switch over to the CART Toyota Atlantic Series in 2002 and in 2003 became the youngest competitor to earn a podium finish in series history. Krisiloff competed in the ASA Series in 2004, placing in the top-20 four times in 10 races. In 2005, Krisiloff competed in 14 ARCA events and three NASCAR Busch Series races.
