CAREER

One of the promising young drivers on the NHRA circuit, Dave Connolly made his Pro Stock debut at Chicago in June, 2003 following a successful Sportsman tenure in which he won the 2002 NHRA Division 3 Super Gas championship. The Ohio native earned a third-place points finish in 2004 and advanced to four straight runners-up before capturing his first-ever win at Brainerd in August. Last season, Connolly broke out of the blocks strong in 2005 with a victory at the NHRA Winternationals in Pomona and then held first place after his second win of the season at Las Vegas. The Chevy Cobalt driver won two races, advanced to five finals and finished fifth in the points standings.
