Head curtain side-impact air bags

These inflatable curtain air bags¹ deploy in the event of an accident with significant side-impact force. They are designed to help reduce the risk of head and neck injuries to the front and rear passengers sitting in the seats closest to the side of the cabin involved in certain side-impact collisions.

¹Always use safety belts and child restraints. Children are safer when properly secured in a rear seat in the appropriate child restraint. See the Owner's Manual for more information.
