4-speed automatic transmission

The 4-speed automatic transmission is standard on all Crew Cab™ Colorado^® models and available on all other models. The Hydra-Matic^® 4L60 offers an electronically controlled system to get you going from a stop or push you up steep inclines. With an optimized gear ratio to maximize power for tough hauling or to deliver a smooth ride as you drive down the road, this transmission was made for the Colorado. An electronically controlled overdrive system provides comfort and efficiency at cruising speeds while maintaining the necessary power to pass.
