The 5-speed manual transmission is standard on all 4-cylinder engines in Regular and Extended Cab models (not available on Crew Cab models), and was crafted specifically for your 2012 Chevy™ Colorado^®. Putting all that power and efficiency from the 2.9L I-4 engine to proper use in driving the axles, this manual transmission gives you complete control over the handling of your Colorado. Upshift  or downshift as you need to deliver power for hauling heavy cargo loads or maneuvering through work sites.
