7.0L V8 SFI engine

Born from more than 10 years of experience with the Corvette^® Racing program, the Corvette Z06^® is propelled by the 7.0L engine that delivers 505 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque into light, four-into-one headers. They discharge into two close-coupled catalytic converters, then through two mufflers to dual-mode exhaust valves that control exhaust noise during low-load operations but open for maximum power.
