OnStar® with 6 months of the Directions & Connections® plan

Cruze™ comes with the peace of mind of OnStar®1 and 6 months of the Directions & Connections® plan. The service includes Automatic Crash Response™2 that helps reduce the response time of emergency medical attention. In a crash, built-in sensors automatically alert an OnStar Advisor who is immediately connected to the vehicle to check if you need help. It also provides emergency services, crisis assist and stolen vehicle assistance including Remote Ignition Block™. With Remote Ignition Block, OnStar sends out a signal making it impossible to restart a stolen vehicle's engine once it has been turned off. The plan also includes Stolen Vehicle Slowdown®. If a stolen vehicle is moving, and conditions are safe, authorities can request a Stolen Vehicle Slowdown, where OnStar sends a remote signal to gradually slow the vehicle.

Other services of the Directions & Connections plan include remote door unlock, OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics, roadside assistance, remote horn and lights, hands-free calling, Turn-by-Turn Navigation with destination download to your navigation radio (if equipped) and OnStar eNav (where available). Turn-by-Turn Navigation gives you simple, voice-guided directions that let you keep your eyes on the road and hands safely on the wheel. There is no map to read and nothing to enter manually.
