3.0L DOHC direct injection V6 engine with FlexFuel capability

For added power, choose the 3.0L DOHC direct injection V6 engine for your new Equinox^®. This powerful yet refined engine ably moves Equinox down the road with features such as Spark Ignition Direct Injection (SIDI) and Variable Valve Timing (VVT).

This engine is also E85¹ capable, with available Federal emissions. Dual exhaust with premium tailpipe tips is included when you select the 3.0L V6 engine.

The engine generates 264 hp @ 6950 rpm and provides 222 lb-ft of torque @ 5100 rpm. Requires Pioneer^®2 premium 250-watt 8-speaker audio system on 1LT. Included when All-Star Package is ordered.
