3.6L SIDI DOHC V6 VVT engine

Impala^® is powered by the new, more powerful and more efficient version of the 3.6L direct-injected V6 Variable Valve Timing (VVT) engine. This powerhouse delivers 300 hp @ 6500 rpm and 262 lb-ft of torque @ 5300 rpm. DI is Direct Injection, which helps deliver great fuel economy¹ while improving vehicle performance. VVT works by optimizing combustion, enhancing low-end torque and high-end power while controlling emissions.
