Magnetic Ride Control^™

Camaro^® uses the next generation of Magnetic Ride Control^™, allowing the driver to select from 3 settings: Tour, Sport and Track. Magnetic Ride Control uses twin wire/dual-coil dampers at all 4 corners. This design:

• Allows precise control of the electrical current and resulting magnetic flux
• Provides a wide range between the softest setting (for cruising comfort) and the firmest setting (for track driving)
• Enables fast response to allow the system to adjust continually to driving and road conditions

The system is capable of remarkably fast damping level adjustments – up to 1000 times per second. If you're driving at 60 mph, that translates into 1 adjustment per inch of vehicle travel.
