6.2L supercharged V8 SFI engine

This engine produces amazing specs from a small-block V8. This is because it incorporates strong but lightweight internal components, plus an Eaton^® Twin Vortices^™ Series supercharger with intercooler. This roots-style supercharger features two highly twisted, four-lobe rotors which spin in parallel to push two vortices of air into the engine intake and a dedicated liquid-to-air charge cooling system to reduce the air temperature exiting the supercharger, resulting in a quiet yet efficient high-performance intake system.

638 hp at 6500 rpm and 604 lb-ft of torque at 3800 rpm allow the ZR1^® to move from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.4 seconds and attain a top speed of 205 mph; it's the fastest GM^® production car of all time.
