The Farthest Reverse Ramp Jump by a Car to air on Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory series finale

The last time Rob Dyrdek got behind the wheel of a Sonic it was for the kickflip seen around the world.

The reality TV star, professional skateboarder, and full-time thrill seeker performed a kickflip (a full 360-degree corkscrew rotation in mid air) in the Sonic over the world's largest skateboard.

Now, Dyrdek and Sonic have done it again.

With Six Flags Magic Mountain as a backdrop, Dyrdek set the record for the Farthest Reverse Ramp Jump by a Car in a specially equipped 2014 Sonic. He returned to the California theme park for a live stunt that took place on February 13, 2014, and will air on the series finale of Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory on March 13, with a recap on March 20.

Driving a Sonic backward at 50 mph up a launch ramp, Dyrdek sailed the vehicle over 80 feet to the safety of the catch ramp to set the Guiness World Records Title.
