- The ECOTEC 2.4L DOHC 4-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) is standard on LS and LT and available on LTZ(1) models. It has an EPA estimated MPG 22 city, 30 highway.

- The covered center armrest console provides convenient storage for small items and features upper and lower storage bins, plus a sliding armrest.
- A leather-wrapped shift knob complements the luxurious look inside 2LT and LTZ models (LTZ shown).
- The LTZ leather-wrapped steering wheel features mounted Driver Information Center buttons, cruise control and audio switches and TAPshift controls.
- The premium audio system in Malibu LTZ includes an AM/FM stereo with an in-dash six-disc, MP3-capable CD changer; auxiliary audio input jack; 210-watt amplifier; and eight speakers including two subwoofers.
- Standard in all models (LTZ shown), an auxiliary audio input jack for an iPod(R) or other MP3 player.

- For your peace of mind, every Malibu comes with OnStar(1) with a one-year Directions & Connections Plan. The plan includes Turn-by-Turn Navigation,(2) the simplest and smartest navigation system available. Just press the OnStar button and tell your destination to an Advisor. The route will be downloaded to your vehicle and an automated voice will guide you through every turn until you arrive at your destination.
