This key fob lets you lock or unlock your Aveo from about 20 feet away. It sounds the horn when you lock the doors and flashes the lights momentarily when you unlock the doors.

Plus, a content-theft-deterrent system is built right in. It activates when you press the LOCK button on the key fob (Aveo5 version shown here; Sedan versions allow you to unlock the trunk). To disarm, a quick press of the UNLOCK button will do. The system will produce an audible alarm and flash the lights if someone forces a door open without properly unlocking it.

It's standard on Aveo LT Sedan and included in the available Power Package on LS models.
