The antilock brake system (ABS) on Cobalt is designed to help you maintain steering control by reducing wheel lockup during hard braking on most slippery surfaces.

Sport models are equipped with standard four-wheel antilock disc brakes. Four-wheel antilock front disc/rear drum brakes are standard on 2LT and available on LS and 1LT.
