Body Panels — Exterior Fit and Finish

The exterior body panels on Cobalt are designed to fit tightly and precisely. For example, gaps are 3.5mm, plus or minus .75mm, and flushness and parallelism are plus or minus .75mm. That's the same precision demanded of high-end European and Asian vehicles.

Not only do these measures make for a great-looking vehicle, but they also contribute to the overall quiet nature of Cobalt. On the inside, carefully selected materials are designed to reduce noise and vibration including Quiet Steel®(1) technology.
