The 6.0L engine — standard on 2500, 3500 and 3500 EXT Passenger Van and available on all 2500HD Work Van and 3500 Super Heavy-Duty Work Van and Express chassis cab models. Benefits include:

• 323 horsepower at 4600 rpm and 373 lb.-ft. of torque at 4400 rpm
• High-capacity, internally balanced cast-iron crankshaft that features undercut and rolled fillets
• A composite intake manifold with equal-length runners that helps provide efficient combustion
• Cast-aluminum cylinder heads and a valvetrain that feature roller rocker arms and hydraulic roller lifters
• The ability to travel up to 100,000 miles before the first scheduled spark plug replacement, thanks to iridium-tip spark plugs
• The Vortec 6.0L can also go up to five years or 150,000 miles (whichever comes first) before its first scheduled coolant change.(1)
