HHR and HHR Panel are equipped with front disc and rear drum antilock brakes, except SS Turbocharged models which feature front and rear discs. The front discs feature ventilated rotors with single piston calipers.

The antilock brake system (ABS) is designed to help you maintain steering control by reducing wheel lockup during hard braking on most slippery surfaces. ABS is standard on SS Turbocharged all 2LT models, and included and only available with the Enhanced Safety Package on all LS and 1LT models.
