Bussed Electrical Centers (BEC)
As part of its electrical system, Impala features the latest version of the GM LAN Series Data Architecture — an advanced electrical system that links critical vehicle control functions via a high-speed bus, which then transfers data in real time. In addition, two advanced Bussed Electrical Centers (BECs) help reduce the number and gauge of wires to greatly diminish the potential for electrical difficulties.
