StabiliTrak helps a driver prevent skids and slides that can happen in an emergency. The system continuously monitors such factors as a vehicle's speed and side-to-side movement. In situations where the vehicle does not adequately respond to the driver's steering commands, the system brakes each wheel individually and decreases engine torque to help maintain a stable direction of travel. Standard on 2LT, LTZ and SS.
