Power-Remote Liftgate

Standard on LTZ and available on 3LT models as part of Convenience Package 2, a power-remote liftgate adds both functionality and convenience, making it easier to load and unload cargo. Here's how it works:

When the vehicle is in Park, simply press and hold the power-release button on the key fob and the liftgate slowly opens, regardless of whether the vehicle is locked or not.
To close the liftgate, simply press and hold the button again. If the vehicle is locked, the liftgate will also lock.
In addition to the key fob, there are activation switches located in the overhead console, the bottom edge of the liftgate and the liftgate handle.
As an added safety measure, the liftgate is designed to automatically stop and reverse direction if it encounters an obstacle.

Not available on Tahoe Hybrid.
