Driving’s more fun in the sun with the available premium power sunroof.
When it’s open, the sunroof glass stows between the roof and the headliner to create a streamlined exterior profile. It’s available in 2LT (Aveo5 2LT shown).
This smart little feature is integrated into the available four-speed automatic transmission. (This transmission is available in all LT models.) The Hold Control mode helps reduce wheel spin and loss of traction when traveling on slick roads by allowing you to select a higher gear to reduce torque. You can also use it to help maximize control on hilly or twisting roads by remaining in a lower gear.
Here’s how it works: 1. Press the HOLD button. 2. The transmission becomes a three-speed manual and will stay in the gear that has been selected. 3. The HOLD light illuminates on the instrument panel. 4. The maximum speed for each shift lever position will be achieved when the engine redlines. The transmission will not upshift. 5. Press the HOLD button again to return to the automatic transmission.
