Chevy reveals the 2013 NASCAR Nationwide Camaro, further solidifies Camaro as a serious player for Chevy Racing. The aggressive and refined style of Camaro will soon be the face of Chevrolet in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Corvette Racing swept the American Le Mans Series in the production-based GT class. The duo of Compuware Corvette C6.Rs won four races and posted five fastest lap times. Those four wins, paired with eight more podium appearances, propelled Chevrolet to capture the manufacturers championship. In the No. 4 Corvette C6.R, Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner won the GT drivers championship. That impressive showing ultimately secured the ALMS GT team championship for Corvette Racing.

The SS is an all-new race car determined to take the lead. Chevrolet has already claimed 701 NASCAR^® wins, and the announcement of the new 2013 NASCAR Chevrolet SS race car gives hope to fans for many more victories to come. The new race car will debut at the 2013 Daytona SpeedWeeks in February and is the newest entry in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series^TM.

There was no lack of anticipation for the first race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ season. Speculation in the stands and in the broadcast booth was heavy as the new Gen 6 race cars arrived at the start for the first time. When the green flag falls on the 97th running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 26, Chevrolet engines will be powering many of the top drivers in the field, ranging from three-time winner Helio Castroneves to Swiss racer Simona De Silvestro to current IndyCar champ Ryan Hunter-Reay, who already has a Chevrolet win to his credit this season.
