Johnson, driver of the No. 48 Lowe’s Chevrolet SS, outpaced the other three drivers to win the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ finale in the Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday to earn his seventh series championship, tying a NASCAR record held by Hall-of-Famers Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner captured the GT Le Mans (GTLM) Driver’s Championship in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship on Saturday with a third-place finish alongside Marcel Fässler at Petit Le Mans presented by Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort.
