For easy and organized access to your tools and cargo, each package includes three exterior, remote–release, side–access panels that can be opened by Remote Keyless Entry. Not available with optional driver–side 60/40 swing–out doors or sliding passenger–side door.
The dealer–installed Roof Rack Package lets you add carrying capacity up top. Add the Roof–Mounted Swing–out Ladder Rack Package for improved access to all of your stored items. Both are designed and engineered to perfectly fit your Express.

The Vortec™ 4.8L E85 FlexFuel3 V8 engine comes standard on 2500 and 3500 models, giving you a real choice in how you fuel your vehicle. 2500 and 3500 also offer the 6.0L V8 or opt for the Duramax 6.6L Turbo–Diesel V8 on the 3500 passenger van—the most powerful diesel in its class.

The standard Hydra–Matic® 6–speed automatic transmission on all 2500 and 3500 models includes Tap–Up/Tap–Down driver shift control and auto grade braking.
The innovative Tow/Haul mode system gives automatic transmissions a dual–mode shift program. This feature raises upshift points to use more of the engine's power for strong acceleration and raises downshift points to help slow your van using engine braking.
