The Vortec 5.3L V8 engine's Active Fuel Management(TM) technology deactivates four of the eight cylinders when extra power isn't needed, such as when cruising down the highway on level roads.
In 2WD models, the 5.3L V8 engine generates 320 horsepower and 340 lb.-ft. of torque. In 4x4 models, it generates 310 horsepower and 335 lb.-ft. of torque. A smooth-shifting, four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and Tow/Haul mode is also standard.

The Rearview Camera System(1), available in select models, allows the driver while traveling at low speeds in reverse, to see certain stationary obstacles on the navigation screen. The camera works in concert with the available Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist.
