Plan a Route or Find Charging for the Mobile App

EV Route Planning:

1. Tap the MAP icon on the app’s home screen to start planning your route.
2. Use the SEARCH icon to enter your destination. You can enter a Point of Interest (POI), address or charging station. When you find it, tap Plan Route (an arrow icon).
3. The app will help you decide if you have enough charge to reach your destination. If not, it will help you plan a stop at a charging station along the way.
4. Adjust the settings for your trip as needed (e.g., add Return Home if needed).
5. Open the directions in your phone’s navigation app; or, to see it in the vehicle on your center display, use Google Maps.
6. Tap the STAR icon to save locations and routes to your favorites.
   

Other EV features include:

Explore Range:

• Tap the EXPLORE RANGE icon (a vehicle inside a circle) to see how far you can travel and return based on your current state of charge, shown as a dotted line.
• You’ll see an alert if you’re outside the range of your home charging location.
  

• Tap the FILTER icon (a funnel) to find nearby charging stations or narrow down the search results (e.g., by charging provider or type of charging station).
  
• Use the SEARCH icon to see charging stations at a different location (e.g., if you’re traveling to another city).
• Tap the FILTER icon (a funnel) to narrow down the search results (e.g., by charging provider or type of charging station).
• Plan your route to the station, if needed.
  

You can set up your home and work locations during the app setup process or through the screen search. This will make the features more personal.
