1967-1969

Chevy’s entry in the popular “pony car” segment became an instant classic and an icon of the muscle car era. 

Classic Chevy Camaro SS in Orange Parked on the Sand near the Beach

  • Launched with 15 exterior color and 8 engine choices
  • Selected as the Indianapolis 500® pace car in 1967 and ’69
  • RS models distinguished by “hidden” headlights
  • COPO special-order models for drag racing debut in 1969

1970-1981

Redesigned from the ground up, the second-generation Camaro was sleeker and engineered for greater handling.

2010-2015

After an eight-year hiatus, the Camaro returned with a heritage-inspired design.
