Do you share use of your vehicle with anyone else or have multiple vehicles? If so, Family Sharing is a great feature for you. Each Family Member you invite to your Family Group will use their own sign-in and security PIN information and their own compatible mobile device to access the shared vehicle(s).

You can invite Family Members to your Family Group through My Account or by using the myChevrolet Mobile

As the Family Owner, you have the ability to add or remove members from the Family Group, the vehicles they have access to and the services they have on the vehicles.

                What can Family Members do?

Family Members can access the shared vehicle(s) to monitor, maintain and use select features or remote commands within the mobile app (services are dependent on vehicle capability and plan). This may allow your Family Member(s) to:

- Find your vehicle in real-time using Vehicle Locate*
- Start, stop, lock and unlock your vehicle with Remote Commands
- Access energy features, such as EV route planning, for electric vehicles
- View or manage your vehicle’s Wi-Fi® Hotspot and password*
- Monitor your vehicle’s health and maintenance*
- View all Family Members with access on this shared account

A Family Member does not have access to your Account or permission to change services, features or plans. The Family Member only has access to the vehicle you shared with them and the services you enabled/purchased for that vehicle.

Important: By inviting a Family Member, you’re sharing your vehicle information with them, so make sure it’s someone you know and trust.
For your security, please don’t include personal info such as phone number, address or credit card details.
