Because we care

At Chevrolet, we’re committed to continuing an over-100-year legacy of caring. It’s why we’ve supported the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer®* program for 15 years in a row. It’s why, together with Chevrolet dealerships, employees and customers, we contributed over $1.7 million in 2024 alone and over $22 million to the cause so far. And it’s why we’re dedicated to helping make it so that no one — from survivors to those currently undergoing treatment, including the estimated 313,510 people who will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer this year — has to face breast cancer alone.

Drive for a Cure

Chevrolet’s commitment to driving change took center stage at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Fall Auction, where a one-of-a-kind 2022 Camaro SS 1LE Pace Car sold for $150,000—with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society® and their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® program. The striking pink ombre-wrapped Camaro, which served as an official pace car during NASCAR races from 2022 to 2024, was a powerful symbol of hope and awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Its sale contributes to Chevrolet’s ongoing partnership with the American Cancer Society, which has raised more than $22 million over the past 15 years to support cancer research, patient services, and early detection efforts.

Every step helps

It’s easy to support the cause. You can make a contribution, help raise awareness or show your support with Chevy Cares merchandise. All it takes is a few simple steps.

Make a contribution

Every dollar counts when it comes to showing support. The American Cancer Society® uses your contributions to fund research, provide support services and ensure access to screening.

Learn about early detection

According to the American Cancer Society,® regular screenings can help find breast cancer early – even before a lump can be felt. This is when it's easiest to treat.
