We’re more than a car company. We’re a company that cares.
We’ve been caring for over a hundred years. Why do we do it? Because caring matters. Because breast cancer won't cure itself. Because an active kid is a healthy kid. And because those who protect us deserve the best. Join Chevrolet and our dealers as we continue our mission to create a better world.
Empowering our veterans
Chevy has always stood with the ones who sign up, show up and get the job done. No one embodies that spirit more than our nation’s service members. At this year’s CMA® Awards, Chevrolet honored Achilles™ Freedom Team member and proud veteran, Retired Sergeant Nick Koulchar. In August 2008, Nick was wounded when an EFP struck the side of his vehicle in Iraq, causing a traumatic double amputation above both his knees. Today, he switches between prosthetics and a wheelchair to get through the day. With the help of CMA Awards Nominee, Ella Langley, Chevrolet and Achilles ™ International worked together to present Nick and his family with a Next-Generation BraunAbility® Traverse — a wheelchair-accessible vehicle designed to accommodate his specific mobility needs — at this year’s CMA Awards. For over 15 years, Chevrolet has proudly supported the Achilles Freedom Team in their efforts to help break down barriers for hundreds of military veterans with disabilities.
Drive for a Cure
Chevrolet’s commitment to driving change took center stage at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Fall Auction, where a one-of-a-kind 2022 Camaro SS 1LE Pace Car sold for $150,000—with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society® and their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® program. The striking pink ombre-wrapped Camaro, which served as an official pace car during NASCAR races from 2022 to 2024, was a powerful symbol of hope and awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Its sale contributes to Chevrolet’s ongoing partnership with the American Cancer Society, which has raised more than $22 million over the past 15 years to support cancer research, patient services, and early detection efforts.
Training tomorrow’s technicians
The road to self-discovery is paved with community — loved ones who help us learn, grow and transform. It’s important to GM that we’re contributive and supportive members of that community. That’s why we offer the GM Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP) — certified automotive service training to help kick-start careers. ASEP blends classroom learning with hands-on apprenticeships, and helps students streamline their career path while earning an associate degree. Above you can watch how ASEP helped Chevy dealership employee Ashley find a community and a career she loves as a GM-certified auto technician.
The Negro Leagues Tribute: Much more than a game.
The Negro Leagues were home to some of the greatest players in the history of baseball. But for these talented individuals and their fans, baseball was much more than a game — it was the representation of a dream that ultimately broke down barriers and changed lives. Together with Major League Baseball, Chevy is proud to be part of the Rickwood Field Tribute to the Negro Leagues, June 18-20, 2024, in Birmingham, Alabama. We’re especially proud of the six Chevrolet team members with special connections to the Negro Leagues who took part in this tribute. Because we care
Chevrolet has partnered with American Cancer Society® to help make strides against all forms of
Chevy Cares and the power of play
We understand that youth sports are more than fun – they’re a springboard to self-esteem, courage and academic success and provide important life lessons about perseverance and teamwork. That’s why Chevrolet is dedicated to youth sports. From sponsoring instructional clinics and contributing equipment to refurbishing fields and providing uniforms, Chevy is helping to empower the next generation of major league talent, both on and off the field.
Looking out for our military
Chevrolet honors active service members, veterans and their families. We’ve partnered with Operation Homefront in their drive to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. We also support Wreaths Across America to honor our fallen heroes by donating 4,000 wreaths each year that are laid at over 1,200 cemeteries, including Arlington National Cemetery.
Together we’re stronger
Inclusion lies at the heart of Chevy culture. We’re committed to GM’s aspiration to open doors and create opportunities for people of all backgrounds. We do this through programs and partnerships that drive inclusivity in the communities where our drivers, employees and customers live, work and play.
