Multi-Flex Magic

A trick new tailgate comes to the 2021 Silverado 1500 along with many other functional enhancements.

The 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has more than a few useful updates to make towing, cruising, and doing truck stuff a lot easier. Two available engines—the efficient 2.7-liter Turbo inline-four and Duramax® 3.0-liter Turbo-Diesel—get improved towing ratings. The entire Silverado lineup boasts more standard equipment, plus available enhanced camera towing technologies now include Jack-Knife Alert and Trailer Length Indicator for compatible trailers. But the star of 2021 is the attention-grabbing Multi-Flex Tailgate (available on all models). This slick piece of purpose-driven technology will make living and working with your Silverado better than ever. The new design boasts six different functions, all designed to help improve loading, unloading, and accessing the Silverado’s cargo bed, so you can work smarter, not harder. Take a look at all the ways the Multi-Flex Tailgate adapts to your needs—not the other way around.
