About the GM Extended Family™ Mastercard® (until 8/22/2025)
Important information about the GM Extended Family Mastercard for existing Cardmembers.
At 12:01 a.m. ET on August 22, 2025, GM credit card accounts will transfer from Marcus by Goldman Sachs® to Barclays
The following benefits will continue through August 21, 2025:
- Earn 1% on everyday purchases toward the retail purchase or lease of an eligible, new GM
vehicle* - All Earnings can be combined with the GM Employee, Supplier or Dealership Employee discount (if eligible) for an even greater value toward your next, new GM
vehicle* - Combine Earnings with most vehicle offers for more potential value
- There’s no limit to the amount of Earnings you can build up or use toward an eligible, new GM vehicle. Plus, Earnings can be used for up to 7 years on accounts in good standing
- Earnings can also be used as statement credits in any amount over $50 in statement credit value once your credit card is linked to your My
Account* . To use your Earnings as statement credits, log in to your My Account and navigate to “Rewards Programs” on the left-hand side and choose “Manage Account” from the GM Extended Family™ Mastercard tile lower on the page. This will then take you to your summary page, where you can select “Redeem” near the top right of the page and scroll down to “Redeem toward Statement Credit.” From here, simply enter how much you’d like to use toward a statement credit (minimum $50). After completing the prompts on the site, you will then receive your Statement Credit. - No annual
