Navigation – Quick Start

Google Maps helps you reach your next destination with real-time traffic data, automatic rerouting and voice control. To interact with Google Maps using your voice, tap the Google Assistant icon or say “Hey Google” to get started. Google Maps requires a paid service plan or trial.

Here are some examples of what the system can do:

Personalized Suggestions: If you’re signed into your Google Account, Google Maps may suggest destinations based on your habits and schedule. For the most personalized experience, save your home and work addresses.

Routing Options: Google Maps gives you multiple options when selecting a route to your destination. If your vehicle is equipped with Super Cruise™, you can opt for a route that provides the most compatibility with the hands-free driving technology (with the approximate travel time on Super Cruise-compatible roads being displayed).

Traffic and POI: Google Maps stays up-to-date, providing you with the latest map details and information about traffic and events along your route.

View Options: On some models, you can also view your navigation route or turn-by-turn directions in the cluster display.

EV Mapping Experience: You can plan your route based on your state of charge or preferred charging stations, search for charging stations along your route and see the estimated charge state at arrival. When your battery state of charge gets low, Google Maps will prompt you to add a stop at a charge station to your route.

For your security, please don’t include personal info such as phone number, address or credit card details.
